SPAZIO GRIOT is an independent, nomadic space, launched in November 2021 as the physical extension of the online magazine GRIOTmag, active since 2015. Driven by the eponymous collective, SPAZIO GRIOT platforms multidisciplinary experimentation, exploration, and dialogue, fostering artistic and research practices that bring critical perspectives on the tensions and transformations shaping contemporary culture. As a think-feel-do tank rooted in Rome and beyond, SPAZIO GRIOT organises exhibitions, performances, screenings, listening sessions, readings, residencies, workshops, discursive and public programmes, and editorial projects. It cultivates community through collective making, growing a fluid network of partnerships with institutions, organisations, independent spaces, artists, scholars, and cultural practitioners working across both local and global contexts.
